Christmas in January!

This post is way over due. Christmas was hectic and emotional. It started with a whopper of a winter storm. It hit fast and furious and dropped a lot of wet, heavy snow very quickly. It took me an hour to make if up our hill to our house. We finally made it home, had a nice dinner and then, the power went out. Yep, heavy snow is not good for power. I spent the night bringing in fire wood and keeping the fire going. All those years in girl scouts paid off. The next morning we still had no power and the utility company stated it would take up to 3 days to repair. We headed South!
This was my driveway right before we drove off the hill.

The "Christmas Tree" right outside my door and decorated by nature!

I finally got to meet my new nephew, Cameron. Isn't he a cutie?

The Cain Cousins - Luke, Alex, John Christopher, Lily Wen, Cameron, Anna, Catherine, Graeme and Ashley Grace

Graeme, John Christopher, Lily Wen and Luke
They all had so much fun playing together.

Cookies for Santa!

Just before bedtime on Christmas Eve. I love this picture as they are dripping with anticipation.

Just me and my wee ones!

Lily Wen with her Bendaroos! She was so excited that Santa had brought them.

Graeme and Rocky the Robot Truck dancing!!

Lily Wen set out all of her things and wanted this picture!

Lily and Rosie with their new matching PJs

A little Fancy Nancy for the holidays.

The wee ones Christmas day.

Cameron with his Santa slippers.

Lily Wen saw her first episode of Ninja Warrior and learned a few new tricks!

Lily Wen always draws herself with an 'L' necklace on so for Christmas, my friend Robin made one for her and she LOVED it!
Our first Christmas with just me and the wee ones was hectic and emotional. I wonder what 2010 will bring our way. I am hoping for lots of Laughter and Love! Wishing the same to all of you too!
