Tough Break!!!
I am soooooo glad that we spent last weekend in the pool because it will be a while before we swim again! Lily Wen broke her elbow. She was doing what she loves most during recess which is climbing the monkey bars when she slipped and fell. She is in this temporary splint until the 14th and then, we will take more x-rays. The orthopedist stated that he would probably need to put a cast on her until the end of the month.
She is such a trooper and handled it all with amazing inner strength. She knows that she won't be swimming for a while and she is still smiling! She is relaxing in a sea of pillows and drawing. It looks like the beginning of summer will be full of art activities and reading. Never a dull moment!!!!!
