HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! Celebrating with 20!

The wee ones and I spent Thanksgiving in Gatlinburg with family. We had an amazing time. We met up with my Mom, sister and her family from Louisiana; my aunt, cousin and her family from Washington DC and my cousin and his family from West Virginia. It was the first time in a long time that we had all gotten together. We had sooooo much fun!

One morning, we decided we needed a family photo. This was the chosen option. It was so much fun to get all dressed up for the photo! The kids had a blast.

We looked a little more vibrant in color!

We decided going back in time once was not enough so we went again... a little more prehistoric this time.
Cameron rides his first dinosaur. I think this could be one of my favorite shots from the whole trip!
We spent our last afternoon celebrating Lily Wen's birthday with family. That deserves it's own post so I will add those pics later in the week. These are the best pics of more than 500 taken over the time we all spent together. We were thankful for our immediate families, our extended family and the joy of being together. It took a lot of planning to get us all together (thanks so much Di for pushing us to do so). I can't imagine being anywhere else this Thanksgiving. I loved being surrounded by those I love. This year just feels pivotal in more ways than one and I am so grateful for new experiences and new friendships.

The Ever-Lasting Halloween

We have had three days of Halloween festivities! I am glad my wees are in the bed. They have to be exhausted! We started out with Friday afternoon and went trick or treating downtown. Then, Lily Wen had had her first elementary school dance. She won 2nd place in the Halloween costume contest for her age.

Saturday, we went to a party at our neighbor's house. The kids enjoyed a hayride, sack races, and lots of Halloween games.
Graeme loved the hayride!
They're off through the neighborhood!
Graeme trying to take a bite of the apple with no hands. It was Hysterical!!!!
Then, we met more friends where we took a hayride to the top of the hill so we could trick or treat on the way down. (That is our church in the background)

Today, we went to the Fall Festival at our friends' church. More fun and time with friends!
