The wee ones and I spent Thanksgiving in Gatlinburg with family. We had an amazing time. We met up with my Mom, sister and her family from Louisiana; my aunt, cousin and her family from Washington DC and my cousin and his family from West Virginia. It was the first time in a long time that we had all gotten together. We had sooooo much fun!

One morning, we decided we needed a family photo. This was the chosen option. It was so much fun to get all dressed up for the photo! The kids had a blast.

We decided going back in time once was not enough so we went again... a little more prehistoric this time.

Cameron rides his first dinosaur. I think this could be one of my favorite shots from the whole trip! We spent our last afternoon celebrating Lily Wen's birthday with family. That deserves it's own post so I will add those pics later in the week. These are the best pics of more than 500 taken over the time we all spent together. We were thankful for our immediate families, our extended family and the joy of being together. It took a lot of planning to get us all together (thanks so much Di for pushing us to do so). I can't imagine being anywhere else this Thanksgiving. I loved being surrounded by those I love. This year just feels pivotal in more ways than one and I am so grateful for new experiences and new friendships.

Oh I love Gatlinburg . . . and have precious memories of family times when many of us gathered together! Thank you so much for sharing--you guys always take the best group pictures Margaret, and seriously I don't see a hint of any behind the scenes grumbling about it! :)
I'm so thankful for your "pivotal" year.
Blessings to you and your Wees~
Tina
What wonderful fun! Love seeing your pictures.
