Lily Wen has been with her Forever Family for FOUR years!

Four years ago today I became a mother in Chongquing, China when I met my daughter for the first time. Words are still not adequate to describe that day. She has brought so much love and joy to our lives. We are so blessed!!! I pulled out our pictures and these are a few of our favorites.

Tiger Toes!

Lily and I along with my friend Becky enjoy getting our toes painted. We show our creative side through our toes. It is also a great reward for Lily when she is having excellent behavior. Lily typically gets hers done with hot pink polish and multi colored polka dots or a butterfly or anything that looks like Hannah Montana might wear it. Tonight, my girl got TIGER TOES. That is right! She got her toes painted as the true LSU fan that she is growing up to be (influenced totally by her mother and not at all by her father!!!!) We were so proud of our team for beating those Auburn Tigers that we just had to have Tiger Toes!
The cutest Tiger Toes in the world...Lily Wen's toes!
Lily and Graeme show off their toes (Don't worry....he went with us and even though he begged, he did not get his toes polished). Graeme will continue to sport his purple Crocs during football season in honor of our team!

They are so cute!

Time to Play

We stopped to play at the park on our way to eat out yesterday! It was a beautiful day and we just had to have some time outside.
Graeme can't decide what he wants to do first.

FUN FUN FUN

My little mini me photographer takes a pic of me taking a pic of her!

So cute!

They ran from slide to slide!
She is growing up so quick!

The look on his face...

I just can't get enough of this SMILE!

We really need to get her back to gymnastics!

Sally Grace is with her Forever Family!!!

Congradulations Steve, Lisa and Bett....we are so happy that Sally Grace is with you!!! We traveled with Steve and Lisa when we went to China to adopt Lily Wen and they were there to bring home Bett! Lisa and I met during the paperchase online and submitted our paperwork in the same month (back then this meant we would travel together!) We stayed in contact throughout our wait and traveled together to bring home the girls. We are so excited because they met their second daughter from China while we slept last night. Please keep them in your prayers as Sally Grace transitions to her new family!

Graeme's first haircut

Remember when Graeme's hair looked like this.....
Bye-Bye Bengbu haircut (this is the cut that the babies get when they go to meet their parents...girls get the same cut) After two long months of waiting for his hair to grow so that we could cut it, he finally had his first haircut with us.

He met the challenge with his normal enthusiasm!

About half way through, he was wondering what he had gotten into now.

After his cut and style (in a fauxhawk), he posed for the cameras!

Side view! We all prefer it natural as seen in the first day of school pics but we sure had fun at his first official haircut. Thanks Mrs. Sheila!!!
