Re-Fingerprinting

Wes, Lily and I headed to Louisville this morning to be re-fingerprinted for our adoption...Wes and I not Lily. It was a little surreal to realize that next week on the 10th will be our 18 month anniversary of our first fingerprints. The fingerprints expire and you have to head back and update them....just in case either of us have committed any felonies in the last 18 months. It is just one more step in the process. While we were having them done, I knew that referrals and LOAs were probably coming in and they did. One family got their LOA in just 3 weeks. We have now been waiting 109 days. Where is the logic? This has been the most frustrating part of our adoption for Graeme. He is WAITING!!!! Please pray that we get ours soon. I just want to hold my SON and Lily wants to meet her BROTHER! She is asking more often when we are going to get him. We are all feeling the need to travel SOON! I just can't imagine waiting much longer.

Just checking in to see if you'd heard anything yet . . . I'm still waiting with you, day 123 for us. I truly thought we would get ours by the end of this past week. The two families from my Yahoo orphanage group (Zhuhai SWI)that had LIDs behind me, have now gotten their LOA's. That is tough to take. It'll happen for us-- hang in there . . . like we have a choice right?

Come on CCAA these mamas need their LOAs!!!

Praying for us, and for our waiting babes.

Blessings~

Ugh...its bad enough doing all of this stuff the first time! I'm praying you get LOA this week!!! Our agency was told by China last week that our PA would be here soon! Hopefully so will your LOA!!! Hang in there...this is the more difficult part of the journey...but it will be SO worth it!!!

Margaret, my heart aches for you and Graeme. Your LOA has to come soon.

Is your agency checking on things for you? I think I'd be camped out at my case manager's desk until I knew for sure.

So frustrating. I'll pray you get it this week (and maybe we'll get ours, too!)

Margaret,

Praying for your LOA--it can't be long, never mind that, it already is LONG . . . hopefully tomorrow is the day.
