I saw this sticky note image and it brought a smile to my face. When I was a teenager and my parents would leave to go out of town, the house would be plastered with sticky notes. This was my mother's way of ensuring that she would have a home to come home to! I fill like my brain is one big list of sticky notes. Maybe if I would take the time to write down all of the things I am trying not to forget, I wouldn't be spending so much time trying to remember. Don't forget.....
to stop the mail
pick up the prescription meds
buy a canister for art work or kites
buy the clear containers for the paperwork
make the copies of the paperwork
check to see if the airline has released seats so we can all sit together
pack for all of us and find a scale to be sure that the bags are not over 44 pounds
get keys to the dog sitters
spend some quality time with Lily before her world flips upside down
spend some quality time with Wes
avoid a total meltdown at all costs
rest so I will feel better before the trip
pray for Graeme's transition to our family
BREATHE!
Mom, I need some sticky notes quick or better yet could you come up before we leave and be here to help when we get home. If only we lived closer....Missing you more than you will ever know!!!!!

Your thinking too much! Go get you baby and everything will work out in the end. Ok, I have never been where you are but hang in there and it will all work out.
Oh wow, only 6 days!! You have to be just a bundle of emotions right now. Looking forward to following your journey to Graeme :)
Very exciting!!!
WOO HOO! Let the countdown begin!
Boy, do I remember THOSE feelings!! My desk calendar for the week before we left was FILLED, every line, with things to do, buy, people to call, things to find, etc. etc. Hang in there, it'll all get done, you'll find yourselves sitting on the plane and THEN you'll breathe! :)
In through the nose, out through the mouth ;o)
So exciting! Just start a list, not only will it help, but the satisfaction of crossing the completed tasks off is rather therapeutic :o) Sending a big hug and will be praying for you and your family!
Dear One,
Just caught up on your blog . . .
having just returned I feel your huge anxiety, this too shall pass. So much to do to get ready to go. I have traveled, and moved and packed so many times in my life, but nothing is like getting ready to go to China-- nothing! The "emotion factor" of being soooo close to your sweet babe just pushes everything right over the top! I would love to talk to you before you go . . . about Blogger or anything else. You can email me from my blog (contact link is under our family pic)send me your phone number and I'll give you a call--or I'll send you my number and you can call me when you have a second to breathe--remember to breathe!
Thinking of you, as you are ever so close to your Graeme!
Blessings as you prepare to fly!
Tina
thats so cute!
Lea
I'm so excited for you!! I hope everything will go very smooth!
